About this course

Entry-level analyst roles ask for the same three tools again and again: Excel, SQL and Power BI. This course teaches all three in the order you would use them on the job — clean and explore data in Excel, query it with SQL, then present it as an interactive Power BI report.

Instead of toy examples, you work with three datasets modelled on real businesses: a retail chain's sales, a food delivery app's orders and a hospital's appointment records. Each becomes a finished portfolio project with a report and a short write-up you can link from your resume.

The final module prepares you for the analyst interview: SQL test questions, case questions, and how to walk an interviewer through your projects.

Do I need a powerful laptop?

Any Windows laptop with 8 GB of RAM runs everything in the course. Power BI Desktop is Windows-only; Mac users can use Power BI in the browser for most lessons.

Is there a certificate?

You receive a completion certificate in PDF. Your three portfolio projects will matter more to an employer, so the course puts its effort there.

How will I receive the files?
